This resource isn't new to the website, but it's a worth a blog post because of how incredibly effective it is.
Memorizing Scriptures is vital for good spiritual health, especially in these end times, and the sooner we teach our children the Word of God, the better.
One of the easiest, quickest, and most effective ways to memorize Bible verses is to put them to music, and the creators of this DVD have done a great job of making scripture easy to remember.
The DVD contains 156 catchy scripture songs sung by kids, for kids. Each song is illustrated by a short skit where kids act out scenes that teach the lesson of that particular scripture.
If you want to plant the seed of God’s Word into the hearts of your children, look no further. The DVD was produced several years ago so it looks a bit dated, but I can confirm that the songs are easy to catch on to, and easy to remember.
My children have been singing them since they were toddlers, and I can't think of a better way for a child to learn and actually remember 156 memory verses!
The DVD consists of 12 episodes, and each one is 30 minutes long. You can buy the DVD online, or download them for free from 3ABN TV's archive (you might not able to download the video files to your cellphone so use a laptop or desktop instead).
One thing I found useful was to take the video files and extract the audio from them, so that we could play the MP3 files in the car on road trips or even just driving around town. I can't stress enough how much of a valuable resource this is. The Bible instructs us to teach our children the Word of God, and this is an easy way to do so. You can listen to the songs, at home, in the car, wherever you are, so...
